Event Details
Join the El Jebel Shrine Community Band and Four Mile for a low-sensory Independence Day weekend celebration of music and storytelling. Starting at 10:30, the El Jebel Shrine Community Band will delight guests with music from America’s beloved musicals in the Grant Hall Backyard. Bring a camp chair or picnic blanket and find a spot outdoors to enjoy the sounds of American musical theatre (and a few patriotic numbers). Afterwards, stick around for a special edition of Tales & Tails featuring Blue Sky White Stars, written by Sarvinder Naberhaus and illustrated by award-winning Kadir Nelson, and a flag-making craft.
