Horse Manure Tea Workshop
October 21st, 1pm
Learn how to turn common garden resources into a nutrient-rich boost for your plants! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to make “manure tea,” a natural liquid fertilizer created by steeping aged manure in water. We’ll walk through the brewing process, discuss how manure tea can support healthy soil and plants, and explore ways to use it safely in your own garden! This is an 18+ program.
Participants will get to see the brewing setup in action and learn what materials they need to recreate the process at home. The following day, when the brewing process is complete, participants may bring their own gallon jug to take home their very own manure tea.
This event is discounted for Four Mile Members and includes entry to Four Mile Historic Park on October 21st and 22nd.
