Four Mile Historic Park is located next to the Cherry Creek Trail between Denver and Glendale.

Parking and Entrances

Main Parking Lot

Four Mile’s main parking lot is located on the north side of the Grant Family Education Center, facing Exposition Avenue. GPS instructions: Enter 4846 E Exposition Ave, Glendale, CO 80246 in your GPS for directions to our parking lot. Parking spaces for those with disabilities are available in front of the Grant Family Education Center. Please note that the parking lot is partially paved. Parking in the lot is free.

Main Entrance

The main entrance is located within the Grant Family Education Center building.

School Entrance

The school entrance is located on the east side of the parking lot. It opens at 9:50 a.m. for school groups and is locked immediately after entry for student safety.

Bike Racks

A bike rack is located on the west side of the Grant Family Education Center, just on the other side of the picnic structure, along the Cherry Creek Hike & Bike Trail.

Back Gate

The back gate, located just south of the intersection of E. Exposition and S. Forest at the roundabout, is for staff and authorized vendors only.

Shuttle Bus Transportation

CharterUP makes it a breeze to have reliable group transportation to Four Mile Park. Additionally, National Charter Bus offers Denver charter buses for groups of all sizes. Operating locally, Denver Charter Bus Company also has a variety of charter bus rentals in Denver.

Driving Directions to Four Mile

From Colorado Blvd., turn east onto Cherry Creek Drive South, turn north (left) onto Cherry Street, cross the bridge, and make a right turn onto Exposition. The Four Mile Historic Park parking lot is on the right.

ADA Accessibility

Due to the historic nature of the Four Mile House Museum, it is not ADA accessible.
Please keep in mind that the Park’s terrain is rough and may be uneven in some spots.
Please bring heavy-duty strollers and/or wheelchairs. We do not have scooters/wheelchairs/mobility devices available for rent and cannot offer shuttle services onsite. Due to the historic nature of the Four Mile House Museum, only the first floor is wheelchair accessible. Handicapped parking is available in front of the Grant Family Education Center.
