12th Annual Four Mile Fling

Thursday, August 22 | 5:00 pm–9:00pm

Kick up your heels and party like it’s 1859 at Four Mile Historic Park’s annual Fling Fundraising Dinner & Auction!

Cocktails will start the evening at 6:00pm under the stars amidst a rip-roarin’ buffalo chip toss with dinner and a silent auction following. We'll top off the evening with an old fashioned marshmallow roast over the campfire. A VIP Reception will be held from 5-6pm for Patron ticket holders, Table Sponsors, and Event Sponors which will include an open bar, behind-the-scenes tour of our preservation work on the Four Mile House Museum and more!

The auction will showcase local businesses, artists, and organizations to the 250 attending guests while raising funds for historic preservation maintenance on the Four Mile House Museum, underprivileged youth to attend Four Mile Historic Park’s many programs throughout the year, and to provide the community with interactive experiences year-round.

All proceeds from the 12th Annual Four Mile Fling Dinner & Auction will benefit Four Mile Historic Park, site of Denver’s oldest standing structure. Four Mile House was originally a stagecoach stop and tavern and later a farm. Today, this 12-acre park serves to educate the public, as well as over 16,000 school children each year. The mission of Four Mile Historic Park is to teach and preserve Denver’s early history and pioneer culture.

Casual western attire is appreciated.

All proceeds benefit journeys into the past for our community & historic preservation of the Four Mile House Museum.

12th Annual Fling Committee Members:
Bar Chadwick, Kris Christensen, Edna Chang-Grant, Tyler Coombe, Tracy Dorland, Nancy Parker, Katie Wilkins, and Barb Wyatt
