Four Mile Historic Park's Summer Day Camps
Experience Colorado's Pioneer Life and the Charm of the Old West

Children experience a simpler way of life at a slower pace as they learn and play as Colorado children did in the late 1800s. Campers will experience direct and meaningful contact with our 12-acre historic park and Denver’s oldest standing house. The log portion of the Four Mile House, built in 1859, shows the lifestyle of Colorado’s early pioneers. The 1883 brick addition illustrates how lifestyles changed as the owners became more prosperous and the railroad brought more fashionable furnishings to town. Campers learn and play on our 12-acre site in our teepee, meadow, summer kitchen, miner's trapper's cabin amongst horses, chickens, goats, a mule and a loveable farm kitty, Brantner. Camp at Four Mile Historic Park will be a welcome change for your child this break!
