Reserve tickets to become a part of the Art In The Everyday Community Quilt Project, an ongoing community art piece brought to Four Mile Historic Park this spring by artist Laura Phelps Rogers.
The project began in Calgary and travelled to Hawaii with workshops held in Hawaii, Chicago, Denver, and Maryland. Join Laura Phelps Rogers and Four Mile Historic Park for a workshop in March, April, or May of 2026 and create your very own wooden disc quilt piece. Each piece brings with it the individual’s unique interest areas, materials, and storytelling.
Join Four Mile and Laura Phelps Rogers for a free exhibit opening on March 5th at 6pm.
Workshops will take place at Four Mile Historic Park on March 29th, April 19th, and May 10th at 11am. Workshop costs support Laura Phelps Rogers’ continued work and Four Mile Historic Park’s preservation and education efforts.
Join Cheese Monger and Certified Cheese Professional Kelly Liebrock from The Art of Cheese for a festive and tasty cheese class to get ready for spring. You’ll dive deep into cheesemaking (and eating!) to help you further appreciate your cheese board. First, Kelly will walk you through the basics of how to make your own cheese at home. Next, she’ll help you decide how to best pair your cheese with what’s seasonal and local. Finally, you’ll get a chance to put it all together on your very own cheese board using the one you glazed in our earlier class or if you didn’t attend that class, we made some extras for you to use! At the end of class, enjoy a tour of our farm and meet some of the friendly goats we purchased from The Art of Cheese last summer.
Four Mile Makers features hands-on workshops for learners of all ages brought to you by partnerships with local artisans, experts, and craftspeople. Four Mile Members receive a $5 discount on all classes in this series.
Join the Four Mile Bee Club for their March meeting. This meeting will be focused on defining the goals of the club.
This event is FREE to Four Mile Members.
Historically, hives were kept on the property and honey was processed in the Bee House, which is now kept as a one room schoolhouse on the Park property. Today, hives are kept by Bee Club members, and the gardens are maintained by volunteers. Honey from the Four Mile Hive Bee Club will not be available for purchase but will be harvested during demonstrations at events throughout the year.
